Pee Paw's garden

As if attending Sawyer's birthday party wasn't enough on the 22nd, Jake, Kate and I headed down to my mom's afterwards for what we thought was going to be a little rest and relaxation. Ryan was out of town for the weekend and I figured it would be nice to have an extra set of hands. Thank goodness I did as Jake was not a happy camper that evening. He started battling constipation that weekend and has since had to go to the doctor and receive a few glycerin suppositories. Poor little guy. Thankfully, things are much better now.

Kate and Pee Paw planted all the vegetables in their garden! Ever since she helped Ryan plant our tomato plants, she has really been into "gardening". Needless to say, she was super excited when Pee Paw informed her that she was going to be able to help plant all the delicious veggies! My mom was pretty excited too as it helped her check off one of the thousand "things to do" she has on her plate! Kate checked on "her" garden 3 times the next morning. It is now just a matter of weeks before we can enjoy the fruits of their labor!
